Who do you think DeNiro's character works for?

I don't know either, but I think he's related to Harvey Kietels's charcter 'The Wolf' from Pulp Fiction. They both solve problems.

I was about to post, and I still may, but I want to search more to see if this is covered...

Anyway, I think DeNiro WAS the president. The "president" was just a figurehead.

The reason I say this is the bit about the illegal alien that at the end is sworn in as a citizen. Earlier in the film, Heche's character said something about whether someone was a citizen or not and how it related to the president.

Just a thought...

DeNiro's character worked for the Office of the President, or perhaps the president's party or reelection campaign, as a "fixer"... his job was to fix problems. It doesn't require you to be president, or work for anything more shadowy than the DNC.

Essentially, he was able to pull what he pulled because he had a powerful backer... the president... who trusted him to do what was in the president's best interests, and so would back any play he made.

He was simply a spin doctor. A guy on the president's staff (usually unofficially) who utilizes the media to help the president's PR. "the war's over. I just saw it on television."

He works for someone you'll never hear about, it all comes down to the old thing of, if you know about a secret society they are powerless. The men that really control the presidency and therefore america will never show their faces and don't have their names in the press. They realise that true power comes through anonymity. Which is why we don't know who the *beep* he works for.

reply

Take some paranoid pills.

reply

Yes of course, because secrecy and anonymity aren't powerful tools. Think before you type moron. The reality is that the men who control america cannot afford to be known. Also I was referencing the fact that deniro says he could tell them who he worked for but they're names he does not want to hear (for his own safety)

Let me also recommend valium.

reply

It's retards like you that facilitate this type of control

reply

Karl Rove type role I think. Presidential advisory staff. Probably not Secret Service, otherwise I think the CIA would have just let them off easier.

DeNiro never presents any credentials, just dials the president on his phone to prove who he works for. Funded by the men behind the curtain I presume or superPacs in today's world. Politicians are all puppets. The handlers do the work handed down to the by the elite oligarchs who pull the strings.

reply

Agent of The Patriots is my guess.

The reptilians.

He has elements of the CIA, elements of the "Wolf", elements of The Parallax Corporation.
