This movie wouldn't fly today

Just the way they threat the woman who was bitting would send the feminist into rage.

Was feminism not very common then in America in 1998? I think it was. Hell, the internet also existed around that time too.

In addition, there is, in all this CONTROVERSY about feminism, including what it is, how good it is etc, it seems at least some people are lost because some actually assume it is a movement to defend and at all costs admire women, but it actually turns out to be a kind of rights movement and it even criticizes some women at least if they do something wrong and illegal and it does NOT state that all men are evil just like that and that if women do something wrong they should avoid punishment.

A lot of people wonder why they don't call it equalism but look at the historical roots of it and you will understand. Just try and leave emotions out of it to an extent and you will see.

I was a freshmen in high school, no, feminism was not popular at all at that time.

reply

Yeah, but no social media.

The movie is full of characters that are mean, nasty, and downright awful people. Jack Crow is one of my all time favorite antiheroes and he's that way for a reason. The vampires represent pure evil. The feminists who don't like this movie can suck it as it wasn't made for them. Movies don't have to be all things to all people.

Is there anything that doesn't offend the modern feminist?

reply

Pretty much no, I know they hate me just for being alive due to being white and a male.

reply

time and time again its some anti feminist dipshit inventing shit he thinks his idea of a feminist might say - like in the OP of this thread .No feminists have been offended .

Once again its the " I never get offended , Cant say anything these days" types that appear to be upset and offended about things they've imagined .

This is the case for all of those ubiquitous "Couldnt make this move today" threads .
