they should do a remake on a bad movie

The movie and the book share only really one thing the name. They didn't really use any of the characters that were in the book in the movie except for Woods. They combined some.The first few minutes in the movie follow the book i love the reading the book which is a lot better than what they did to it in the movie.They didn't do anything in the movie in which you cared what happened to the people in the movie.There was no back story for the people going against the vampires why they were doing it for? Was it for money or revenge for something that happened to them or what?If you read the book you knew other wise you had no clue.
