This movie is a real classic of dark humor, very unique in his style. It is also truth that the 3rd movie was terrible, no comparison at all with the two former.
As Torrente is a fascist, rascist, disgusting corrupt cop, it would be very difficult to fit this character to the american idiosyncrasy, not to mention for how difficult will be to find an actor to play him.
Anyway it is great to see that not all spanish movies are snobbish stuff or a simply waste of time.

Esta peli es un peliculón. El personaje de Torrente está por encima de todo, es inigualable. Lo que sí puedo llegar a entender es que sólo nos guste a los españoles, pero está infravalorada en IMdB.com
Qué maestría de Santiago Segura al hacer esta película, qué gran papel de Tony Leblanc... el cine de Almodóvar si que es triste, todas iguales: sexo, maricones, putas y un guión que aburre siempre, pero como es Almodóvar pues ya nos tiene que gustar a todos...venga ya!
10 sobre 10 a Torrente, la segunda un 8 y la tercera muy floja, pero no se le puede reprochar.
