Hi guys,

Ok the movie is well done, I can't say it is totally bad but it's rarely funny in my opinion.

No, it's not funny when the Lady is shot, laying on the bed, then she's not dead so they kill her with the pillow. I can't understand that kind of humour..

Are they telling us that it is funny to kill people ? Well the way the movie does it doesn't make it funny to me. I don't like Tarantino's style too. He makes movies that are very violent and show it like it's fun. Well, it's not fun.. to me, violence is not funny showed like that. It's rarely funny actually, except maybe when it is exaggerated like they did in "Kick ass", maybe..

I felt the same in "Jerry & Tom", and it's really rarely funny.

Too bad because the "mise en scène" is good and the acting is fine.

Should it be classified as a comedy? No more than it's a "drama". But just because IMDb doesn't have a "black comedy" genre doesn't mean that there isn't a good deal of humor in this movie. Gallows humor. Along with the "mise en scène" and acting it's an underrated gem.

If you click on see more after the genre that says :

"Comedy | Crime | Drama", they did put "Black comedy".

Actually I thought it was made in a way that was not funny neither impressive and even not smart, so I thought it was useless.

The movie is technically well done, this is not my idea.

LofM, I can certainly accept your opinion if not agree with it. Especially since you didn't post, "Worst Movie Of All Time!"
Just curious. Do you feel the same about a film like Stalag 17?
