Hopkins' Best Scene in the Film
My vote for Anthony Hopkins' best scene (i.e. best delivery of Shakespeare's lines) is probably the one where he pleads to his sons lives, i.e.
"Hear my, grave fathers, noble tribunes stay! For pity of mine age whose youth was spent in dangerous wars whilst you securely slept..."
His desperation and eloquence in front of an uncaring crowd (and later to no crowd at all) was a powerful moment.
The runner-up would be the "...I will grind your bones to dust, and from your blood and it I'll make a paste" scene, although he hammed it up a little too much with a wink and a nod to Hannibal Lecter.
