The summary for this movie is pure crap, and has little to do with the story. I don't see how IMDB can allow this kind of shallow idiocy to stand. The summary writer obviously missed the whole point of the movie, and hopefully didn't dent his aluminum foil helmet in writing it! ;-) Truly dreadful.

shareIsn't that the problem, though? The film really generates a flavour of its own, which is so well rooted in the real world, rather than "movie" world. The basic plot narrative only gives the bones of what passes as action, rather than the growth portrayed in the two main protagonists. It's so well paced and nuanced; I'm surprised that it didn't gather more plaudits on its release. What was it running against in 1998?

The true moron is the person who expends such energy to criticize someone else rather than giving IMDB the 'gift' of their own profound summary.
