One of the trashier movies to get a wide theatrical release

Species had quite a bit of sex and violence, being about an alien/human creature who will do anything to reproduce. It was somewhat tasteful about it, though, at least compared to this one.

We've got threesome early in the movie, several exploding wombs and other exploding body parts elsewhere in the movie, and plenty more violence and nudity. The script was something for an exploitation movie.

They sure don't make them like they used to! At least the big studios don't. Seems like you can get away with even more violence now, but the spicy stuff is completely gone from horror movies made by the big studios.
