all the characters sound like Larry David. he is a funny guy but lets face it, he cant write dialogue for multiple characters. they all speak in the same way. it doesnt make the movie unwatchable by means, but it is distracting. it sounds like Larry David talking to Larry David the whole film.
shareLarry David is basically a one-trick pony; he can write Larry David very well, he can act Larry David very well, and he can create Larry David-like situations, problems and reactions very well. He probably also directs people to become 'Larry David' very well.
I don't think he has the ability to properly write any other characters, Kramer excluded, perhaps. But even Kramer is just a 'weird version' of Larry David.
