this board seems a little empty so not sure of my chances, but:
does anyone know where i can get hold of this film to buy?
i read the book and loved it - in fact love both flanagan brothers work, everything i've read, even articles about footy in the paper!!
i'm also living overseas, and missing my beloved little tassie - i've never seen this film in vid stores even when i was at home.
am dying to get hold of it if anyone can point me in the right direction?

I found it in video ezy and am watching it right now, 8 years after falling in love with the book and searching endlessly for the film. I'm surprised I found it. Where do you live?
