Clever conspiracy thriller.

This is one of my favorite conspiracy thrillers. The US Navy has tested a new missile and it has failed. However, the results are faked. One of the analysts spots the fraud and hopes to give evidence to the Secretary of Defence at a boxing match. The maker of the weapons system who also owns the boxing stadium, conspires to the kill the analyst before she can pass on the proof. The plotters even have fall guy in place to distract any investigation. This is a very clever film that appears to be a standard thriller about a corrupt cop with a gambling problem.
