ridiculous looking boxers--

i've never seen worse looking heavyweights in my life. the actors they got look more like overweight mechanics than athletes.

i thought the same thing, especially the one who took the dive.

both were FAT and flabby! what a joke!

What's sad is I've seen worse in the HW division these days. James Toney (who is one of the best boxers in the world) was flabby as a *beep* against Hasim Rahman, but was still putting punches together very well. Other than a few exceptions he is one of the few who can box overweight. Mostly it is a bunch of no talents throwing massive amounts of weight into their punches then tuckering out by the 5-6th round.

It wasent that unrealistic considering how the averGE HEAVYWEIGHT LOOKS TODAY. They often look like Tyler did big and strong but quite flabby and not defined.

It was the atrocious fighting I couldent stand!

Obviously, the OP does not watch any boxing.

The bigger you are, if you are in shape, the higher your chance of having excess flab. Your body needs a certain amount of fat proportionate to muscle mass to function properly. Boxing isn't about looking pretty and having nice ripped abs -- that's weightlifting, the practitioners of which are often under 2% body fat, with the skin just sitting on top of the flesh.

As the poster above me said, it was the silly "fighting" that was in front of the lens that bothered me.
