I thought it was hilarious when Tony Shalhoub was speaking in a weird language. He mixed in Russian, Italian, and German! I would love to try to pick out all the words and see what languages were really used. The subtitles were awesome!!! That is definitely one of my favorite scenes in the movie.

shareTony SHalhoub is definitely one of the most versatile actors around. He's an amazing physical actor, and he can do drama and comedy equally well. He does both exceptionally in "Monk," on USA.
shareThis is my favorite movie of all time, ever. Shalhoub is great, especially while speaking in his native "tongue." For some reason, there are some odd english-sounding phrases in there, like "Blow blow blow!"
Question: does anyone know where one can get the music from this movie? It's the best!

It's available on Netflix. Am watching it now, totally underwhelmed, but the cast is so fantastic I'll hang on for bit, at east until Tony Shalhoub comes on.

This was one of many inspired scenes in this film, and the subtitles were clever indeed! I especially loved the reverse subtitles when Maurice was looking in the mirror.
