This film is like a bad Stella Artois Advert!

Did Sam Jackson have a huge tax bill or owe somebody a huge favour?

Complete and utter drivel, and people seem to think there were spoilers! It was at best a plot written in crayon on glass!

AVOID wasting 130 mins of your life!

Sorry it wasnt as artistic as Transformers. Maybe Starship Troopers 3 will make you feel better.

That's kinda funny! I'd have to disagree with you about the plot. I appreciate this movie because it tries to show us something different. The rule of screenwriting is that it's always about the characters. This movie tries to make an object the main character which is something we haven't seen before.

if you have an interest of music or history then you will appreciate this movie.

Sorry for writing my negative opinion here to fans, but I have to disagree with you. I'm deeply interested in history and have a passion for music, but I can't say I appreciated this film very much. What bothered me with this film was that I wasn't very fond of the acting, and there were many scenes that I felt were weak. Only thing I liked about it was that it had an interesting story, involving many generations and the concept of the main character was quite unusual. But apart from that I didn't appreciate this film that much, despite the fact that I'm a lover of music & history ;). (Oh, yes and I wasn't very moved by the score either, but that's only because I'm mostly fond of Baroque music, and not really this kind of modern composition).
It's often hard to say that only people who are like this or that, or like this or that will appreciate a certain film.
