Calling a wine robust?

First of all, is it ok to let a minor try wine? And second of all, their taste buds aren't that well-developed to know wine because they're not an adult, right?

reply

Well she was raised on a vineyard... and Europe has more broad concepts on wine... it's not uncommon to allow kids to sip wine with dinner.

reply

Ok but whats the significance of Europe having more broad concepts on wine?

reply

I brought up Europe because of the part of the OP about letting kids drink wine... ?

reply

Oh ok. If its ok for children to have a sip of wine, would it be ok to let them have a full glass? I have my reservations about that. What about you?

reply

I would be ok with a sip to let them taste it... then as they get older, a little glass here and there. But not a full glass at that age in the movie, no... hahaha....

I do think that kids go nuts in college sometimes because they have never had a chance to experience alcohol and it is too much too soon... I am a fan of gradual, lol...

Depends on the family. When I was around that age, our parents might let us have a sip. By the time we were 16, we could have a glass with dinner, if they were and it was something that wine paired well with. But we were not leaving the house the rest of the evening. Now I'm in my thirties and they still tell me to drive careful and call if I need a ride, and think two drinks is one too many, so.
