Ocean's Ten?

That's essentially what this film is, no?

Queens-- that thought did cross my mind.
It is that to a certain extent...

Trespalmas-- you are being unnecessarily harsh.

The tone of Out of Sight just seems somewhat similar to that of an Ocean movie, although perhaps a tad more *artistic*.

Trespalmas: You basically seem to be saying "how dare you compare a *serious work of art* to a trilogy of popcorn movies", a trilogy of popcorn movies meanwhile directed by the same guy who directed Out of Sight, the *thinking man's* director Steven Soderbergh. How morally reprehensible could it possibly be of someone, for instance, to compare the Oscar nominated Barry Lyndon to Razzie-nominated tripe like The Shining?

reply

Um, no.

The film is stylized with the same element (i.e. crooks, a heist, and a sauve George Clooney) and does star Clooney and Cheadle, but nope.

You mustn't give your heart to a wild thing
