He plays John Adams very well, though.
He is a bit of a douche in this movie, though I think he's pretty funny and he is also supportive of the good cause. Bit of an idiot, but that what he is supposed to play;).

You've got to see American Splendor (2003) - IMO it remains Giamatti's finest hour.

Rudy was great lol he made some of those scenes better then they would've been without him. This was like the first movie I'd ever seen Giamatti in and he was the perfect choice for that character. You should see him in Shoot 'Em Up.
