does anybody remember what tom tom's last words are?(the words that we hear from his voice after he jumped from the roof just before the movie ends)

yeah i know those, it was the first scene of the movie but i want to know the last scene of the movie, like the ghost of tomtom is speaking.

Hardly a spoiler - Tom Tom jumping off the roof is the first thing to happen in the film.

True, but the film intended you to know that Tom Tom is falling - it's like American Beauty, where Lester says he's dead right at the beginning. There's no surprise intended.

And that speech itself reminded me so much of Lester's monologue in the end.
The part about life being so remarkable but that you couldn't realize it before you were gone.
Anybody else notice the resemblance?

Actually yes... the two films were released quite close together, and some commented on the similarities of the framing narration device. Though of course Lester's film was much more acclaimed and successful...
