Parts that make me cry:

* The part where Jill's mother is dying and Joe walks over and holds her hand, while she is hugging Jill.
* The part where Joe is trying to save Jason, and Jill and the mother stop the police from shooting.
* The part where Jason grabs on to Joe's hand
* The part where the ferris wheel starts tipping and everyone runs back but keeps watching.
* The part where Jason and his mother and everyone else is watching Jill crying thinking Joe died
* The part where Joe pats Jills face and Jill realises he was just knocked out, then Joe opens his eyes.
* The part where Jason says he has money for Joe, then the police officer gives them money, then everyone else starts handing over money.

It's such a brilliant movie.
One of my favourties for sure.

I refuse to watch this movie.
It looks too sad from the trailer :(

Watch it, trust me, you won't be dissappointed.

The scene where Bill Paxton's talking to Joe in the cage after he goes "ape" at the gala. It's Joe's eyes that always get me.

reply

I think i want to marry joe.
Haha.

nice pun, by the way :)

obviously the part where Jill's mom is dying
her funeral
the part where they start to realize the ferris wheel is about to fall and they're running
the part where the ferris wheel hits the ground
the part when jill is crying on top of joe

Call me sentimental, but I really liked this goofy film. A lot.

There was a lot of heart in it, and these days it's more about explosions (thanks, Michael Bay, you *beep* turd), than anything meaningful.

I was a huge fan of the original when I was a little kid, and just now ran across this remake today for the first time. I have to admit, I totally cried when that wheel came down and it looked like curtains for MJ. I also have to admit that if I had Charlize Theron on top of me, I'd come alive, too!

I know, I know.

All of the parts mentioned but also when he is running free in his new home at the end and you know he is finally safe and happy. Ok, crying again!

The part where I look at my watch and realize I wasted 2 hours of my life watching this crap. Oh God...I'm starting to tear up again...

reply

The beginning was one of the saddest parts for me I almost cried, but this movie was really sad altogether! Great movie though!

Only these parts made me cry. They are very intense and emotional.
