I watch this for the comedy

I gave it one star, but I gotta admit, it's entertaining. I remember seeing the trailer a million times back in 1998. I just saw the movie again recently and it really is corny. there's no soul to it or anything. but it's funny. and I can't believe how well it did at the box office. probably because of dicaprio

Its workman like. Such a waste of a good cast.

Sappy, trite drama, but OK for comedy.

Agreed. It's a totally fun watch. And so bizarre that such a bad film has such an amazing cast

It's a totally fun watch.
It has some fun moments and a few funny lines, but it's practically deadly serious compared to many earlier Musketeer films.🐭

Athos: Relax, Raoul. After all, you're my son. How could any woman resist you?

John Malkovich saying that his supposed son is irresistible, because he is his son.

I couldn't tell if that was a joke in the movie, or is just plain ol funny.

Whose idea was it for the word "Lisp" to have an "S" in it?

Well, if it was the real Athos, then it would be true. As for John Malkovich... I must say I always disliked him and consider him about as attractive as a dead ferret. Which is why I never understood why he was picked up over Alan Rickman to play in "Dangerous Liaisons". Fame factor is one thing, but let's be realistic...
