Did Raoul die a virgin?
Did Raoul die a virgin? What do you think?
shareWhy would you think that
shareDoes it really matter? There are worse things than dying a virgin
shareGiven how Athos raised him to be the most valiant of valiant knights and most honourable person in existence, he certainly died a virgin. This was not necessarily obvious in the film, but Dumas' original story shows it very clearly.
shareConsidering his background and character, I'd say-yes!
shareWasn't it standard to wait until after marriage in those days?
Either way, it doesn't really make any difference to the plot.
