Much better than you'd think.

I never saw this back when it came out despite being a fan of the first two. It looked like a slapped together, unnecessary sequel that would be a total waste of time but the constant reruns on T.V. have finally gotten me to watch it. The movie's really pretty good, not as good as the first but close to the level of the second. Too bad it got over looked when it was released.

I'm not surprised there's so much violence in this country. I'm surprised there's so little.

It's pretty Lame and the story is beyond stupid. Add in the phony ball flights (they look so fake it's rather funny) it's just a dumb and not very funny movie.

I still like 1st the best but 3 is alot better then 2

I saw it work this afternoon. Not too bad, a good watch on-the-clock. Of course people on the board is going to tear it apart for silly reasons. A good afternoon watch waiting for tonight's Red Sox game though.

I agree. its not a bad movie once you give it a chance. I think its just as good if not better than number 2.

The idea of the major league team playing the minor league team is pretty much just stupid.......it makes the whole thing beyond silly. Turning the lights off during the game?

'Major League' is silly, but it still manages to have intense on-field action. This doesn't have that, and I think it's what hurts it the most.

However, all in all, it still manages to have some good elements and some laughs. It manages to be decent, or at least watchable when it comes on cable TV.

The asian guy getting a base hit - "I'm going to Disneyland."

Actually, a lot of major league teams take on their farm clubs in exhibition games. I know the Philadelphia Phillies took on their AA club, the Reading Phillies once. They do it to check out future talent to keep their eyes on.

I agree, actually a pretty funny movie, has some great moments.
