I thought this movie was pretty damn funny and entertaining. Most of it, I don't even know WHY it was funny, it just was! Not anything special, but if you've got 85 minutes to waste, this one's perfect.

I enjoyed the film enough to rent it after seeing part of it on network TV. After seeing the whole thing, I think it boils down to just a few memorable gags, but I still laugh out loud thinking about them.

In my opinion, the best parts are 1) when Tony is (through narration) introducing the Don's and their rediculous nick-names culminating in something like Joe "Big-Red-Ass-Baboon-on-his-head" Somebody and 2) when Tony is in the pool with Pepper Giannini where after her graceful dive, he struts up and does this weak little belly-flop type dive, like a toddler learning to swim.

I still chuckle out loud when I think of these scenes.

I actually enjoyed it a lot, but you are right in that it is nowhere near the quality of Airplane or Hotshots or Naked Gun.

Nowhere near as good as "Airplane" or "Naked Gun," but it certainly had its moments. If you didn't like one joke, you'd just have to wait a couple seconds for the next one. Some cool makeup effects also.

I thought it was surprisngly one of the better post-"Airplane!" entries of this type of spoof film. I think one had to be familiar with the "Godfather" films to truly enjoy it though which is why it may not have been as successful with younger audiences at the time(1998), more than 2 decades after the first 2 "Godfather" films were released.
