i thought this movie was really bad, it wasnt even funny. i was sooooooooooooooooooooooooo disappointed when i saw this movie, i thought it was gonna be super funny because it was like airplane but it was so retarted!
shareIn order to appreciate this movie you have to be a fan of not only the Godfather movies but other Mafia movies such as Casino and they picked great ways of making key parts of those movies humorous so if you haven’t seen the real movies you would not quite get this film at all. I thought it was a great way for Lloyd Bridges to go out doing the movies that he had enjoyed the most.

I along with millions of other people in my generation grew up laughing at airplane because it WAS retarded.... Airplane will always be better than all the others cause it was the first... You can compare any of the Naked Gun series, spy hard, hot shots... even airplane II.. they will all pale in comparison (some more than others of course) to the orig Airplane! Get over it and enjoy, or keep watchin airplane over till ya VHS or betamax busts!
The first one was good, plus, It was PG and they had tits in it, like, 2 times

shareThis movie was a good movie for its time. I do admit it was stupid though. If you would have seen in closer to its release period you would have noticed that it was remarkably outlandish. Considering that you have seen it recently (i am assuming you did because Mafia was made in 1998 and you posted this in 2005) you would see that there are more comedies that are really outhere and that this one being somewhat of a first of many doesnt quite match up to its recent counterparts.
