They catch Smith being a spy in this one....but not in the TV series

They know Smith is up to no good in TV series but never red handed catch him as a spy. In this one Major West catches him off the bat.

In the originial series, in the first show, Smith sabotages the ship and fails to get off. They definitely catch him. They know he is the one who did it.

Mairzy doats and dozy doats, but liddle lamzi nothing.
