I know its "Liar Liar" by Castaways. But what version is it?

The version in the film had a female singer, but all the versions I find on the internet don't have her and are just the original band singing?

Can anyone help?

I don't know what you mean exactly. Isn't this the same one played in the movie??

The version in the film is the original. The Castaways are from my hometown, and my dad's band played loads of gigs with them back in the day. The "female singer" is just guitarist Bob Folschow singing falsetto.

Which shocked me when I learned it wasn't a woman singing.

I had to replay the scene as I was just listening to the song, not paying attention to the visuals.
