Loved it!

I'm only 30 so the disco era was before my time. I don't really have any strong opinions for or against disco. I just loved the dialogue in this movie! Reminds me of Aaron Sorkin meets Woody Allen. Half of it was utterly ridiculous, but I feel like that was on purpose. I think Stillman wanted people to be thinking how ridiculous some of the lines were, because often times they would be followed up with long-winded intellectual conversations almost mocking how simplistic some of the earlier statements were.

I watched this mostly because I love Kate and Chloe, but I hadn't seen anything they've done prior to the mid-2000's. They've almost done a full reversal, in 1998 Chloe was insanely cute and in 2016 Kate is freak of nature gorgeous (like seriously how the hell is that woman almost 43 years old?)

Anyway, I can't wait to see Love & Friendship, which just happens to be in theaters now; starring Kate and Chloe and written by Stillman.
