Max turns out to be gay, and marries Jay in Holland, where gay marriages are legal.
The Sam found out Jay had connections with Silent Bob, and they have a short fling, but it turns out he also wasn't the right guy for her.
In the sequel, "Marrying a Fool"(2007) We follow her as she finds out Max knows Matthew Perry, and they hook up together. you'll never guess how it ends... seriously, you wont.
