We knew from the beginning...(SPOILE R)

I have watched this movie several times, and it wasn't until last night that I figured out that we knew from the beginning that Jay and Sam were going to end up together. How?? Because Linda (Jay's boss) told the annoying couple at the beginning of the movie that she was the one who introduced the bride and the groom. Jay is the one who introduced Max to Sam- not Linda.

Damn it, you're right :). So... how many times is 'several times'?

No....I have to watch it again...but doesn't she actually say something like..
"I know the story...I am responsible for it" not that she introduced them....I will have to watch it again....

She may have said something like that to the couple, but to the bartender guy (or the guy handling the drinks or refreshments or whatever), she actually did say, 'You know, I introduced them?'. Then she kinda half-jokingly asks if he wants to know the story, he politely but resignedly says yeah, and she just asks for a drink instead.

Sweet jesus it was so predictable, just watched it on t.v today because I had a hangover and I like Jason Lee. I missed the first ten minutes but it was obvious how it was going to end!

Well, we all knew how it was going to end, yet I did not catch the spoiler in the beginning.

You watched THAT several times - Oh....MY....GOD - either you love Chicago or Ross Geller??? I could barely watch it once - it was absolutely the most predictable story since Shaggy & Scooby were sent to the basement to see if there were any ghosts/monsters there... Quelle surprise - there always was.

Greed, for lack of a better word, is good. Greed is right; greed works.

There are tons of movies that are predictable but great, and this is one of them.
