I saw it when it was in the theaters and it was exactly what I needed at that time. My favorite line? Hunter's character to Other Woman Husband Left For: "Gee, you sound great. Can I *beep* you too?" (or something like that)(Why oh why do those moments never present themselves in REAL life??? )

Later, after I was, ahem...better...I re-watched it and saw how much it really had to say about being true to yourself and living your own life on your own terms. I own it on DVD and still occasionally watch it once in awhile. I dig this movie! Plus it has a great soundtrack. :-)

The movie finally landed on my radar a few weeks ago and what can I say.....


It is now officially one of my all-time favorite movies. In just one week I saw it four times and I fully enjoyed every single viewing. It's the kind of movie that I strongly needed: real, emotional, funny, sad, touching. Great NY atmosphere, terrific cast and overall a package that keeps you engaged from start to finish.


If you haven't seen this movie, and you read this post, don't waste any time. Go there, find it, and watch it. ASAP.
