Pure and simple, he wasnt a decent man, he didnt have a good heart. He is dead and hopefully in hell. His family as well are scum and so are his kids.

I agree, he was scum, I really enjoyed the film,loved it in fact, Brendan Gleeson was brilliant but Martin Cahill was scum.
Imagine how angry the people whose lives were affected by Cahill would have been if they saw the film practically glorifying him.
Really? Surely when you are of a certain age you accountable for your own actions no matter what film you have watched and whether it glorifies a character or not. And to say that about his family...why. What justifications do you have apart from a film you have watched and information that is open to the public.

His daughter wrote a book trying to show Cahill 'the family man'. She was on an Irish chat show promoting the good side of his character as if she didn't care what he did to people. Be that as it may he isn't responsible for the heroin that ruined the country.
