Old hag fantasy

This movie gives unrealistic hope to older woman that don't have the same dating opportunities that Bassett's coporately successful "Stella" did with young Winston, played by Taye Diggs. We can't allow Hollywood fairytales to depict how women see themselves.

Maybe women should make up their own minds about how they see themselves and quit relying on a movie to fulfill a fantasy -- or blaming it if it doesn't become reality.

Well, certainly movies give older men the impression they can end up with women half their age, as well. Such as when Sean Connery is with Catherine Zeta Jones in that heist movie...he's about three or four times older than her? I don't think that happens too often.

LOL are you okay?

If I understand you correctly, if "older" women don't have the same dating opportunities Stella did... they're then classified as old hags? What rock did you crawl out from under?

TC doesn't know what the hell he is talking about. There are PLENTY of older women in their 40's and 50's who can get with young guys in their 20's. If a 40 year old is attractive, she has tremendous options, at least when it comes to a sexual relationship. A woman who looks like Stella could have a field day.

Just look to any of those free dating sites around the web. Gurantee that there are plenty of women in their 40's who are having sex with good looking 20 year olds if that's what they want to do.
