Stella's House in San Francisco
I loved Stella's house in San Francisco where she lived with her son. Was it really located there? Amazing landscaping and pool in the back. Would love to see it.
shareAt the beginning of the movie she drove home from the Airport across the Golden Gate Bridge; Which meant she was entering Marin County. I would imagine Sausalito or Mill Valley in the hills. Though when Winston was leaving for the airport at the end of the movie, a San Francsico Cab picked him up -- which wouldn't happen. A SF Cab wouldn't pick someone up in Marin County.
When looking at the house and the shots of the lights in the distance, I seriously doubt it's located in the SF Bay Area. It's probably somewhere in the Los Angeles Area. They did some San Francisco shots for the movie (GG Bridge, Coit Tower, Bay Bridge etc.) but I would imagine it was a So Cal production.

The point being you would call a local Taxi... a Marin Based Cab Company.
