Just watched the whole trilogy.

Had the box set for a few years now but have only ever watched the frist film.
So I thought I'd sit and watch all 3 back to back.

First film is still as great as ever.
Second film was just terrible had pretty much nothing to do with the first film at all.
This film was actually very good. The plot/story was essentially the same as the first.

After the second film I was not expecting too much, the the third part really surprised me as to how good it was. Ok, it was hardly Oscar worthy and some of the effects were questionable. But on the whole it was a decent film sequel.

The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he is God.

"Good"? you got to be kidding.

reply

reply

No, not kidding. "good".
Not "the best film ever made", not "this film is oscar worthy."
"good".

Why is it that hard to understand?

The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he is God.

Totally agree.

This film was actually very good? Are you for real?
The only decent ones are the first two.

Boycott movies that involve real animal violence! (and their directors too)

The second movie was so god awful I couldn't even finish watching it and I finish EVERY movie I watch whether I like it or not, this movie marks the first occasion I stopped watching a movie before it ended. The third movie wasn't the greatest, kinda cheesy here and there but impressively decent and the story links itself to the first movie which was the best of this trilogy.

I'm with most of you, the 2nd one was just...BAD. As much as I love the first one, Texas Blood Money had very little going for it. Bad story, poorly directed action, avg to below avg acting....a shame they followed up such a great movie (FDTD) with that terrible part 2.

Part 3, though still inferior to the first, was a bit better. I really liked how they showed the Twister BEFORE it became what it became (La Tetilla del Diablo...absolutely brilliant!!!!!) and relies more on its story and character development the way the first movie did!

Im gonna punch you in the cooter, I swear to God!

Agree, the 3rd one is good and much better than the second.

I love the whole trilogy.

From Dusk till Dawn(1996) is actually my favorite film of all time.
From Dusk till Dawn 2:Texas Blood Money(1998) sure it's really cheap and you can feel it but it's a great deal of fun I don't get how anyone who loves B-Movies could hate that film.
From Dusk till Dawn 3:The Hangmans Daughter(1999) is a really neat little western that I like some of the neat direction it went it.

Too bad the TV series was complete *beep*

I love the whole trilogy but as a trilogy not talking about the first FDTD but as a trilogy I think the Dracula 2000 trilogy is better.

It's been a few years since I watched The Hangman's Daughter but I remember it being ok. But I just happened to watch Texas Blood Money on tv, and I found it hilarious... I can't believe the amount of hate it has on here, as it is FAR from the worst vampire b-movie I've seen. I like Robert Patrick a lot though, so am probably more forgiving because he's a major player in the movie. Of course neither of these movies hold a candle to the original '96 FDTD, but what could? That's a classic IMO.
The tv show I actually liked during the first season, but the second season I only watched the first 2 or 3 episodes and lost interest quickly.. I may go back to it once the whole 2nd season is on Netflix.
