JLC looks back on H20

was reading the current issue of SFX in the supermarket and they interview her about HK and ask her how she views H20 now in regard to the new trilogy and shes like 'i only consider the original 78 film and this new trilogy to be the real true saga' but they push her abit and say well H20 was like that back in 98 and so she talks at length about her involvement in it saying like yeah it was a big deal at the time coming out just after the Screams and that she went to Carpenter as said she wanted to pick up with the character 20years on as otherwise shed be too old to do it so they all came up with a story but she said it veered away from what she wanted to do originally (obviously she wanted Carpenter to direct but he dropped out)

anyway this is the issue - https://www.msn.com/en-us/movies/news/find-out-why-halloween-kills-with-sfxs-horror-special-issue

Well, ofcourse she would say that, she's promoting a new bunch of movies that completely ignore all the other movies in the franchise. I think she said something similar about H20 back in the day and that it was the official end of Michael Myers (which she already changed her mind about 4 years later with Halloween 8).

I don't care what she or Carpenter have to say anymore. The original is the only good movie and this sequel the only decent one.
