Flopping about in the ocean (spoilers)

In the end why does Henry throw himself into the ocean, aside from being upset about the truth/loss of Rosina?

I was innocently drinking water and promptly spat it out when i read that..

Ha ha ha! It probably came out sepia-toned.

I guess it's to demonstrate his heartbreak and his loss of innocence.

One thing is for sure - that scene in which Jonathan Rhys Meyers displays his healthy-sized uncircumcised penis made him famous and was the start of his career.

You must have better eyesight than I do or a larger 60" screen, because I never saw JRM's "healthy-sized uncircumcised penis" in the movie. Do you mean the ocean scene? I couldn't see it there either.

He became famous because he's a great and gorgeous actor, not because of his penis!!

Aren't you thinking of Velvet Goldmine and Ewan MacGregor, not Jonathan Rhys-Meyers?

Recon - why you so funny???????

HAHAH

OMG I haven't laughed this hard all week. Thanks for this!

I think ffa01's answer is better, but I always thought it was because he was going to drown himself, but didn't have the strength to actually do it.
