Well, Jackie's reaction to it was weird.
1. She didn't think her 12 year old daughter would feel weird seeing her dad in the shower. I think that would be weird..even if he was alone.

2. The quote "a 12 year old girl sees her father in the shower with another woman for the first time.. and you thought it would be better for her to not discuss it?" Or whatever. Is it just me or was the bold part not only superfluous but creepy? As if the daughter would get accustomed to seeing them in the shower together but the first time would be upsetting.

You are so right! I always thought that was weird too that she added "for the first time". Hopefully it will be the ONLY time!!! BARF!!!!!

Also, if the shower was on, why would Anna be walking into the bathroom to begin with?!?!? It was odd that Jackie thought it was not a big deal for her to walk in on her father showering. She casually responded, "People in our family have been known to shower before..." Imagine being a tween girl walking in on your dad showering. Ewwwww. 
