Isabel was not responisible for Anna or Ben

Isabel was not responsible or not obligated to drive Anna and Ben home, stay with her during her photography shoot or have the kids stay with her when Luke was away. She was not married to Luke yet so technically none of it was her concern or business.

I agree. The movie has a weird 1950s "women are responsible for all the childcare" vibe to it. Why was the dad's girlfriend the kids' chauffeur? Why was she responsible for the kid's clothes or Halloween costumes or school plays or literally anything?
