Issues with her performance aside, can anyone believe that a woman that beautiful couldn't make enough money from prostitution to afford food and a place to sleep?

No, they should have cast someone who isn't as beautiful but who is a good actress. Emily Watson or Juliet Stephenson, someone like that.

She was also always freshly bathed and perfect looking. No grunge in such a grungy city.

Very insulting to Emily there. Heather isn’t beautiful, she’s a dreadful actress.
