Edward Norton

How much is he in this movie? Is it a sort of one scene short subtle thing or does he actually have a character important to the story?

reply

He's in about 3 scenes, 5 minutes tops. Not very important.

He has several scenes. While his character -- John D. Rockefeller, Jr. -- does not have a lot of screen time, he's very important to the story.

Norton and Hayek had been together several years at the time the movie was made, and he actually wrote the final draft of the script, although he is not formally credited.

Edward Norton played Nelson Rockefeller, not John D. Rockefeller, Jr.
Edward doesn't have a lot of screen time.

But, his role is essential, for it was Nelson who told Diego that there wasn't going to be any Leftist mural located in Rockefeller Center in NYC.

When Diego refused to stop painting, Nelson had him paid for his unfinished mural painting. Then that mural was destroyed by workmen at Nelson's order.

Nelson was elected governor of New York.
