I realize Howie Long ain't no Brian Bosworth when it comes to acting, but I don't get all the negativity. This movie was enjoyable, and I learned a lot of facts about containing fires and stuff. There have been WORSE movies (battleship, GI Joe)that got better reviews.
I have seen literally HUNDREDS of movies worse than Firestorm. In fact, other than Howie's acting (and Forsythe's overacting), It's not a bad flick at all. Better than most remakes Ive seen lately. I gave it a solid 6.

I totally agree!! This has always been a guilty pleasure of mine. Sure the acting is not really that strong, but it has decent action, and Howie came across a lot stronger than I anticipated. A good action film if you dont need to escape the world for a little while. I am glad to see some other people giving this movie some love.

Yeah, in all honestly, this isn't that bad of a film. Far from perfect for sure and Howie is far from a great actor, but really, it's not a bad film. I think it's good for a late Friday night viewing on HBO.

Yeah, I agree. I watched it recently and enjoyed even more than when I saw it in the theater years ago.

William Forsythe's character was so incredibly evil. He scared me more than the fire.
