So too much comedy & jokes are great for Guardians of the Galaxy & many 1 liners in Age of Ultron are good
Humour in this & the 2007 sequel.... " too much" I guess those people never read the comic.
These movies do not deserve the hate now.
These will be Hamlet compared to the new version coming out.
These are enjoyable even now.

I enjoyed "Ant-Man" and it's humour but I do think it feels really out of place in the MCU at the moment along w/ "Guardians of the Galaxy" (I also really enjoyed it as well). The tone shifting in the MCU is too messy and is the only major problem in the MCU. I want more gritty Bourne-esque movies in the MCU like "Captain America: The Winter Soldier".

share^This. Rewatching this movie, the humor is one of the few things that actually works for me. Evans crushed it in the role. It's the times that Story actually tries to set up an action set piece, or move the story forward that things get cringeworthy.
