Robert Dean snapping at people (SPOILERS)

When everything starts going wrong in his life, he becomes stressed, which is fine, but him snapping at people who did him no wrong does not help this character on the likeable factor, the writers should have considered this.

He snaps at his receptionist / personal assistant when she mentions twice that a couple of clients are there to see him, for all he knew they were rushing her to get him in there, there must have been a reason that she mentioned it twice, but regardless he was out of line.

Second time he snaps at the receptionist at a hotel when it was HIS fault not hers. He stupidly left his briefcase by his feet while he was sorting out his credit cards (and one of those NSA guys casually walks past and picks up his briefcase and casually walks out of there.) that is a dumb thing to do, that scenario was Robert's fault, he could have put it up on the counter. The receptionist did ask a silly question, but what else was she supposed to say? he mentioned it to her, was she supposed to say nothing?! Anyway it was not her problem, and him reacting to her like that was disgusting.

If the writers want to keep a main character likeable, tone down some scenes because it's difficult for viewers to root for someone who is a jerk!

😠

All of that was the NSA goal, they're trying to crush the guy from every angle, so that if he talks it's worthless.

Therefore we seeing him crash makes sense.

I'm sure if it was "any other" character, this thread would not even exist. People in this country expect certain people to act a certain way no matter the amount of duress.

you aren't lying. I see people of a certain race (we call them karens) act like this more often that not and they are never crucified. smh.

reply

I'm sure you and the other guy are just racists.

This post had me confused the guy he was talking about was Brill when it was Will smith's character. Anyway keeping a cool head is too smart in high tense, pressure situations, having an attitude is realistic.
