Lol sam saying that living with his biological family is a "punishment"

SPOILERS.

That scene at the graveyard with him and beth, he mentions that his kidnapped mother was sick and didn't know what she was doing, then he said "so why do i have to be punished when it isn't my fault", LOL smh it doesn't get anymore disrespectful to your biological mum than that! What sam said was dramatic, but that's obviously how he felt.

And apparently there was originally supposed to be a different ending the same as the book, but test audiences didn't like it.

It IS unrealistic that sam / ben decided to go and live with them at the end considering that he fought all the way through the movie to go back and live with George. Sam / Ben was opposed to living with his biological family, he didn't really get along with Pat, and Vincent wouldn't give Sam / Ben a chance, he was unhappy living with them lot, and just because he remembered something doesn't mean he would have wanted to move in with them, it's a silly ending, but the test audience were obviously wimps and wanted their Hollywood happily ever after.
