This was a great movie to watch for many different reasons. I liked the fact that Jan, the lawye, started to change his ways and care more for the people he was helping then just the money that he would get. He started to get personally involved witht he case, and he really wanted to find out why the kids in the town were becoming ill and dying with leukimia. He started to really focus on the company that had a factory near the water and he tried very hard to find out how they could have gotten chemicals into the water. This movie was very touching because even when Jan had no money left to his name he was still trying to solve his case. He ended up finding that when people were trying to clean up the mess they spilled the chemicals into the water. So he passed on his case so that someone else would have all of the information they needed to win the case. This movie showed how much people can care and want to help no matter what it does to their careers and it also shows how carless others can be, by letting the chemicals get into the water that factory caused the deaths of many young children, and most of the workers never even had thought about it. I think this was a very touching movie.

This movie was a very touching movie! I also did feel that Jan put all his money on the line, to try and solve the case, which was very touching that a person would do that for another in need! The sad part was is that the man who worked in the factory knew exactly what he was doing, and that it was harmful to others, but he still continued to do it! I wonder what the little town would be like now if Jan hadn't stepped in and tried to solve it. What would the town be like? And would there be more harmful chemicals in the drinking water?

I was pretty surprised that Jan did change is ways for others. In the beginning, I felt that he was kind of full of himself and it ws all about money. I agree you with on how some people can be really carless with simple and little mistakes that could have been prevented. It was a very good movie.

I dont know about touching, but it was nice he changed his ways even though it costed him his career. He learned a vaulable lesson in life.

I like how you summarized the story but also added in some personal feelings about the movie. Nice job on gettting all aspects of the story in your summarization.
