Achinn may be right but it seems to also have strong resemblence to an incident in Toms River, New Jersey where a corportation was polluting and caused cancer in many neighborhood teens, mainly in the 1990s. I know this cause I moved to that neighborhood a few years after everything had been settled. Not sure if it is right but you can probably google that and find out more.
