Anyone want to be a lawyer after this?

Did anyone eant to become a lawyer after seeing this? It makes it seems like it could be fun. What is Travolta actually, a civil case lawyer or a personal injury lawyer? Or are they bothe the same thing?

personal injury law is an area of law in which a civil lawyer might practice.

I think the better question is, did anyone want to quit being a lawyer after seeing this?

(Raises hand.)

I want the doctor to take your picture so I can look at you from inside as well.

Which I did in 1995. And which I quit in 2013.

Somewhat ... but real-life lawyers actually don't like in glamour and excitement, as this movie would have you believe. Trials, negotiations, and investigations, for example, is extremely rare and occupies a small role in the work of a lawyer.

Movies that sensationalize the legal profession, like "A Civil Action," is partly the cause of American's current oversupply of lawyers. Law-school right now is a bad idea for that reason.

It should at least inspire many to want to help others if possible.
