Confusion about the way Angels touch Humans

I came on here to see if anyone had this question and I am surprised to not see it. I saw one thread about touch but not specifically my confusion/question. And one other question about humans seeing angels.

So, it shows Angels touching people like the man who signals to pilots, and Seth touches his shoulders to calm him and bring him back to the present moment. And in the shop with the robber, they touch the robber and clerks shoulders to calm them, so the situation does not become worse. Which leads me to believe in those situations obviously the man with the plane, and the men in the shop did NOT physically feel the Angels touch them. Or they would have flinched and freaked out and been like wtf just touched me?

So that is supposed to represent when they put their hands on their shoulders to calm them it's more about an energy thing. Their powers just sending them their calm vibes to help.

BUT, in the scene when Maggie is up and there is a storm, and she feels Seth's presence after their fight, he is not human yet. And he touches her from behind in the bedroom, and a way that looked sexual. Obviously he couldn't feel it, but she looked like she could actually feel his touch, which she could by the way she was reacting to it (sexually almost and emotionally but def physically) and then she says "I want to see you"

Sooo... angels can choose whether the Humans can actually physically feel their touch or not? Or was it because Maggie had a special bond with him....so she could physically feel him? Because she could also see him?

And last question. Obviously most children could see the angels....that's common in films about angels or ghosts. Animals and children. BUT, Messinger'rs WIFE at the BBQ was talking to Seth and could see Seth. And Messinger told Seth though he almost told his wife a couple times, he never actually told her he used to be an angel. Because he knows most humans can't or won't believe it and he didn't wanna stress her out or freak her out. So why could his wife randomly also be able to see Seth? Messinger was human now so he couldn't magically make that happen, and Seth was still an angel and obviously had no power on who could see him, it was always random people apparently like the blind woman who knew Cassius was next to her.

Anyone?

When Seth was talking to the black angel near the beginning I think I remember them saying they could allow themselves to be seen, if they wanted, but it's not something the would ordinarily do.

In Genesis two angels went to Sodom to meet Lot and recon the city in preparation for destruction. They were seen by the populace, appearing to them as men, just like in the movie (Genesis 19). But, of course, angels aren't typically seen by people.

1 I think you already came up with the answer yourself.

...it's more about an energy thing.
That's the way I saw it. The scene with Maggie is just a little more electrically shared n terms of energy. She wanted him touching her and he kind of obliges, though possibly what we see is partly her imagination or desire.

2 I don't particularly remember Teresa specifically talking to Seth (not to say it didn't occur), but weren't there 2 backyard BBQ scenes at Messinger's house, with one occurring before Seth "fell" and one afterward? That may explain what you noticed.🐭
