Danielle's costume

What was Danielle supposed to be at the ball? An angel, fairy, or some kind of bird? Da Vinci had said, "I shall have to make you wings" when she compared herself to a fish, with Henry being a bird. So maybe a sea maiden/mermaid with wings as symbolism?

Or, perhaps I'm overthinking it and it was just supposed to be a lovely costume! :)

I believe it was supposed to be a butterfly.

Lol, that's the only one I didn't think of!

I agree with mysteryjdc. It is a simbolic transformation of hers from a sculdery maid to a lady like a catterpillar becomes a butterfly
