Absolutely awful, even for Wes Craven.

This movie is just laugh out loud terrible. Folks making slasher flicks today are utterly clueless as to what makes a good horror movie.

Case in point: the Saw series of films - pure garbage.

What these film-making clowns fail to grasp is that the greatest horror is between your ears, not on a blood spattered screen.

That's why the novels of Stephen King are so effective, and the films of Alfred Hitchcock are so inexplicably scary.

I guess for today's crowd even horror movies have to be dumbed-down.

What a shame.

Ugh please don't compare horror movies of today with horror movies of the 90s. I know it wasn't that long ago, but there is a BIG difference.

What does Wes Craven have to do with this? He neither directed nor wrote this movie.

He's cited as the third "executive producer," which probably means they paid him so they could use his name for marketing. That's about the extent of his involvement.
